Listen modes

One link, two ways to listen.

One mode for each headspace. Listen mode shows it the way it will sound and look on release. Feedback mode is for the actual work: leave notes on the waveform and collaborate with your team. Your client switches whenever they like.

The same link, two ways to open it

  • 0:42Zoey This is the one. Don’t touch the intro.
  • 1:47Adam Snare’s eating the vocal here.
  • 3:12Zoey Can the pad come in a bar earlier?

The waveform, the notes, the version picker. Click a second, type the thing you’d forget by the end of the track.

Speed

From opening link to first play in about two seconds.

We opened a share link, pressed play, and stopped the clock when the music started. Then we did the same on two other review platforms.

3×

faster to first play than the next fastest platform we tested.

Seconds from opening the link to first play. Shorter is better.

AI connection

Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your projects.

Connect WAVDROP once, then ask about your work in plain words. It reads your notes and links, and handles the small stuff for you.

  • Ask about your work

What’s still open, who listened yesterday, which links expire this week.

  • Let it do the small stuff

Reply to a note, resolve it, or change when a link expires, right from the chat.

  • Inside clear limits

It can’t upload, delete or touch billing, and you can disconnect it whenever you like.

A/B Compare

Pick the better version with your ears alone.

The louder mix always sounds better for a second, and a name like “v4 final” tells you which one you’re meant to like. A/B Compare plays two versions in sync at matched loudness, and can hide which is which until you’ve chosen. So when you and your client talk it over, you’re both talking about the music.

A/B Compare

Compare track versions, gain matched and optionally blind test.

1:47 / 4:12

  • Matched loudness

Both versions play at the same level, so neither wins just by being louder.

  • Blind when it counts

Hide the names and shuffle the order. Pick the one you prefer, then reveal which it was.

  • Flip without losing your place

Both versions run from the same second. Press 1 or 2 and switch mid-chorus.

Protection

You decide who gets in.

Limit a link to your client’s email, add a password, or set it to expire. Unreleased music stays with the people you sent it to.

How we protect your files
  • Encrypted at rest

Your audio and account data are stored encrypted, in private storage.

  • Never at a public address

Every play is checked against the link and its lock before a single note streams.

  • Two-factor sign-in

Add an authenticator app, so your account needs more than a password.

Send your next mix as a link.

Your clients open it in their browser and press play. That’s the whole setup on their side.
